Casting with CMR-free products

Many potting and casting materials are based on epoxy or polyurethanes. These materials are made up of raw materials that often contain hazard symbols. With proper use, this is no problem and the end result after proper use is therefore hazard-free. Permacol aims to reduce the number of danger symbols in the products. In some cases, this means replacing raw materials in an adhesive recipe. If this replacement is not successful, as is the case with polyurethane resins with an isocyanate hardener, for example, a completely new formulation will be developed. The result of this new development without danger labels for potting has become an acrylate based system: the Permacol 3500.
