Silicone adhesives and potting compounds are available in various variants. Main properties after curing such as flexibility (hardness) and high temperature resistance apply to all variants. There are 2 curing mechanisms available; polycondensation (salt/acid) and polyaddition (Platinum), the latter being the best solution for most applications in contact with metals and electronics.
