UV adhesive for PMMA (Plexiglas)

PMMA, also known as Plexiglas® or acrylic, is often chosen for its clear appearance and sleek finish. A bonded joint must not detract from that. That is precisely why this material calls for a UV adhesive that cures optically clear and remains strong over time.
The Permacol 3510 series was specially developed for bonding PMMA. The adhesive is based on methyl methacrylate (MMA), the same raw material from which PMMA is made. During curing, the adhesive turns into PMMA again. The result is an exceptionally strong, durable and crystal-clear bond that is highly resistant to water and chemicals.
Depending on the application, you choose a capillary variant that flows by itself into narrow joints, or a gap-filling adhesive for larger tolerances. Both are suitable for PMMA GS and XT and cure with low-intensity UV light.
