UV adhesives for PET (Polyester, PETG, Polyethylene terephthalate)
Permacol offers several options for bonding PET (a polyester chemically known as polyethylene terephthalate or polyethylene terephthalate). For ultra-fast bonding, there are Permacol 3530 and 3540. The 3530 cures dry to the touch and is very suitable for indoor bonding. The 3540 does not cure dry to the touch, but its relatively high Tg makes it very water-resistant and suitable for outdoor use. These adhesives are also very suitable for bonding PET to glass, metal, or other plastics. If you are looking for a thicker, more pasty adhesive, Permacol 3535 is suitable. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
