UV adhesive for polycarbonate

A clear bond for strong material

Polycarbonate is known for its impact resistance and transparency. To preserve those properties, the material requires an adhesive that not only bonds strongly, but also delivers a neat, durable bond. UV adhesives are an excellent choice for this.

For polycarbonate, including Lexan®, Makrolon®, Makrolife® and Makroclear®, Permacol supplies various UV adhesives. Depending on the application, we recommend a low-viscosity adhesive for fast bonding, or a paste to accommodate larger tolerances. This makes our UV adhesives suitable for polycarbonate-to-polycarbonate as well as bonds with glass, metal and other plastics.

Not every application has the same requirements. Are you working indoors, outdoors, or with larger bonding surfaces? Then the properties you expect from an adhesive will change as well.
