A strong bond requires the right preparation

Metal may seem easy to bond, but in practice it often turns out differently. The type of metal, surface treatment, and load on the joint together determine which adhesive performs best. The wrong choice can significantly shorten the service life of the bond.

That’s why we look not only at the metal, but also at the application. Is it aluminium, steel, or stainless steel? Are the parts exposed to moisture, vibrations, or temperature fluctuations? And is a rigid or rather a flexible bond desired? Only once those questions have been answered do we advise you on a suitable structural adhesive.
