Thermally conductive adhesives
A strong bond that dissipates heat
Heat is one of the biggest challenges in electronic applications. When components cannot dissipate their heat properly, it directly affects the performance and service life of the end product. A thermally conductive adhesive not only provides a strong bond, but also helps to efficiently transfer heat to a heat sink or other thermally conductive parts. They are widely used for mounting heat sinks on processors, LEDs and power electronics, but also in other places where heat needs to be dissipated quickly.
Permacol develops thermally conductive adhesives filled with thermally conductive components such as aluminium oxide, silver or ceramic. The composition determines how well heat is dissipated and what properties the adhesive has during processing and use. This creates a solution that not only bonds reliably, but also contributes to the performance of the complete system.
Tailored to your application
No two electronic products have the same requirements. That’s why we look beyond thermal conductivity alone. We recommend an adhesive that matches the materials, the assembly method and the conditions in which the product has to function. Whether it concerns a compact PCB or an application that continuously generates high temperatures, together we’ll find a solution that proves itself in practice.
Not sure which thermally conductive adhesive best suits your application? Our specialists will be happy to think along with you.
